"Policies for small BU if you are a good player then this company is for you."

Former Employee - Sales Manager says

"cheated me out of vacation by calling daily and forcing us to handle business 24/7, made us work on incentive trips we earned, and didn't pay my last 2 expense reports and is trying to charge us for items paid going back 5 years. They think using Salesforce across the business platforms will increase sales. Most salespeople are putting bogus info in just to make them happy."

Fiberglass Technician (Former Employee) says

"They expect perfect attendance. They say you have a certain amount of points to use. I used several in my first 89 days and they let me go on day 89 and it was due to not perfect attendance, so the point system wasnt true. They should have told me up front to stay employed in addition to doing a good job you must have perfect attendance first 90 days. I did a good job.Job was good entry level jobFiberglass sticks to all your clothes"

Floater (Former Employee) says

"It’s awful work environment. You mess up you get sworn at filthy come home dirty all the time. No leadership. No bonuses and the plant manager gets one. Stay away from there.better opportunities elsewhere.NoneA lot stay away"

"WORST company I have EVER worked for, they reward who you know, not how hard you work...I tripled production in my area in 2 weeks, didn't matter at all. One employee didn't like me, he was tight with the manager and I wasn't, I was let go OVER THE PHONE...no disciplinary action, no warning, FIRED OVER THE PHONE! Most unprofessional company I have ever had the displeasure of working for, you are a body and that is all..HR completely lied to me to get me in the door, told me 5 days 40 hour work week..then I get in and they say oh by the way your area works 6 days a week, 10 hours a day! Unless you have NO OTHER OPTION, avoid this place like the plague!!!! NoneLow pay, long hours, toxic environment, poor management, bush-league company.."

Value Stream Planner (Former Employee) says

"If you as an employee were smarter than the average and gave good ideas of process improvements or challenged a process, management at the time felt threatened for whatever reason. The culture at that facility was very evil and I would never recommend it to anyone. From the day I started, I never felt like I was part of the team there which is very unfortunate.."

Sales Support Manager (Current Employee) says

"National Manager is very vindictive and retaliatory. No real promotion from within. Extremely high turnover rate. No real Leadership at the National level. Treats employees like numbers on a graph. Inexperience shows from upper management as little to no guidance is given but extraordinary amount of chastising and brow beating occurs. National Manager has never once awarded anyone for a job well done"

"You are always pushed to do as much work as three people, when you are only one. Management only cares about making money for themselves, not giving raises to the ones who perform the work."

Forklift Operator (Former Employee) says

"I would rather not comment on my time at Pentair. I met many wonderful people that I still consider friends, but the company is horrible. In the last 2 years, many people have quit to move to a more stable company just in the KC office alone (over 15 people). Was within 10 miles from home.Too many to list."

Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) says

"Work is a fish bowl with many cultures people who just got off the boat and Illegals. You cannot function at any level in maintenance. "working with Pentair is like working with children's. management is no good. the employees lack skills and variation. the managers steals employees ideas in action and make it their own to collect credit. plant wise went through 4 different plant managers including 3 different sight directors. I wouldn't recommend this job to anyone unless it is very desperate.free foodstressful"

Value Stream Production Supervisor (Former Employee) says

"I was very stressed working for the company due to the excessive hours on second shift and obscure shift hours. Being forced to work mandatory overtime is very difficult, especially having minor children."

Material Handler II / Forklift driver (Former Employee) says

"Not a good place to work constant downsizing ,very high turn over low pay Managers leave not the kind of company that can go completely lean due to nature of the business not much lease ship"

Josh Roberts says

"This company is terrible and customer service is non-existent. I placed an order last week and was hoping it would be delivered this week. I track the package today because I never received anything but an order confirmation because I was curious on when I would receive it. Come to find out the package was delivered somewhere on Monday, but not to me, and now I have to wait for them to find it to get my refund. I should be getting the product I paid for or a refund. Your investigation is not my problem and my order or refund should not be delayed because of it. You will never get my business again."

Emily Hawk says

"If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a pool over 3 months ago. Since then I have co tacked them through email, I’ve called, and I have had no success in getting an update on my order. Today I got a email saying they refunded my order without any communication or response to my questions. To add insult to injury they charged me over $100 for this stupid pool cleaner they gave me for free with the order. Why do I need a pool cleaner without a pool! They have had my money for almost 4 months and now I have to go through the hassle of sending back the stupid cleaner to even get all my money back. Sumer is now almost over so no chance of buying a new pool in time for the kids to play either. Screw this company. Horrible business and horrible customer service."

Unsatisfied says

"Pool supply world is selling items they don not have in stock. When I heard that the delivery was going to be delayed, I cancelled my order. PSW decided to ship it anyway, and even threaten that if I didn’t accept delivery, that Fed Ex would “take” money from me. What a joke PSW is. The only customer service I received was threats over the phone against my money."

ed says

"I ordered pool light parts on July 2. There website said they were in stock. They charged my credit card the day I ordered. On July 8th I called them and was on hold for 36 minutes. Finally got a rep who said he would have put I a ticket to track the order and would take 5–7 days. I asked to speak with a supervisor, he advised none were available and would have someone call. Of course no one did. About 2 weeks later the bulb for the lift arrived. Nothing else. I ordered 4 parts and the bulb was useless without the other parts. Still no contact from the company. I called back and was told they would contact the warehouse to see what the delay was. I advised them to cancel the order. Was told it would take 5–7 business days. They told me to keep the bulb and they would refund the entire amount. Just saw today getting a refund minus the bulb. Not a company I would deal with again. I understand shortages especially now, but don’t advertise items in stock!"
